Obaseki woos investors with power, human capital, othersThe Nigeria Gas Company (NGC) Limited has pledged to embark on reclamation of its pipeline right of way from those who have already encroached on the land, appealing for cooperation from its host communities. xNGC said that it was against the standard practice for individuals to either farm or build on its pipeline right of way, stressing that it was dangerous for people to do business on pipelines right of way, as it was a punishable offence. The Esele of Uromi, Chief Innocent Ehichioya, who spoke on behalf of Edonojie, assured management of NGC of the host communities’ cooperation. “As we mark the African Industrialisation Day, it is pertinent to inform investors that Edo State is the best place to do business and set up industries. We have stable electricity in the Sapele Road axis that would provide industries with 24-hour electricity,” he said.
